Routine Gynecological Care

The goal of Planned Parenthood of Northeast Florida (PPNF) Education and Training Programs for teens and adults is to promote healthy relationships and responsible sexual choices. We present healthy options, promote informed choices and raise awareness of the risks for unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections. For teens we emphasize the advantages of abstinence and promote delaying the age of first intercourse.

The Education Department offers a wide range of services for teens, parents, professional educators and youth workers. Workshops are conducted by PPNF education staff, who may be assisted by trained peer educators. Education Programs are as follows:

Not for profit agencies $50.00 per hour*
For profit agencies $100.00 per hour*
Schools FREE

PPNF has developed an workshop educational series based on "best practices" models. Best practices are derived from programs that effectively produce the desired outcomes, such as offering multiple educational sessions and using a variety of learning activities. Workshop topics are tailored to the needs of specific audiences.

The PPNF Education staff will be happy to discuss your training needs. Please contact the Director of Education Manger, Freida Saraga at (904) 399-2800 ext 142.

In planning a training program, keep these factors in mind:

  • The recommended audience size is dependent on subject discussed.
