Medical Assistant

Position Summary:

Responsible for clinic flow, preparing the patient for examination/treatment, assisting the clinician and maintaining clinic equipment and treatment areas. Performs routine lab tests and follow-up.

Education: High School/GED Diploma. MA certification, LPN and/or college coursework preferred.

Experience: One year experience in medical assisting, family planning or medical office preferred. Strong commitment to family planning and reproductive rights. Flexible, friendly and able to establish a rapport with patients and staff. Working knowledge of medical terminology/procedure, and patient management software, and computer skills. Answer multiple phones lines, great customer service.
